For my master bath I wanted to do something just a little bit different than more of the bathroom color ideas 2020 that I have seen on this site. Although I have to admit that I did not stray all that far from the ultra trendy bathroom ideas 2020 in that opted for the super popular marble tile, subtle grey touches on the vanity and in textiles, as well as mirrored accents. The main thing that I did different was use a very understated blush pink paint color on the walls. I have looked at a ton of bathroom color schemes on here and I don't think that I have every seen somebody do something like this (yet anyways).
I am loving the light and bright bathroom color ideas 2020 that seem to be trending on here lately. Over the past six months, I have grown a little bit tired of the typical grey bathroom ideas that are so pervasive. You know, the ones with the mid-toned grey walls, white vanity cabinet and subway tile. I mean, there is nothing inherently wrong with those designs, I just think that they are a little bit boring when everybody and their mother copies the same exact room into their house. The thing that I like most about this particular room is how everything blends together almost as one single color, but the slight textures and patterns bring very subtle depth to the design.
I keep getting more and mire impressed with the bathroom color ideas 2020 that I have been seeing in the new galleries on the website lately. To be honest, I have always found the subject of bathroom paint colors to be quite boring to me because they all seem to be the same boring neutral shades. I guess that this room is no different as far as shade range, but the application of the color is just so stunning. I have looked at a lot of gray bathroom ideas (that is the palette in our home), but I have never seen any where they paint the trim gray and the walls white.
I am really liking the old school glamour that I have been seeing in a lot of the bathroom color ideas 2020 on here lately. I have grown quite tired of the old school trends of the past few years that only really incorporate grey and white bathroom colors. Granted, the master bath pictured here is definitely in that neutral and monochromatic category, something about the shades that they chose is so refreshing and different to me. I like the combination of the luxurious beige stone tile with the darker metallic borders to give the overall design a punch of color. These elements combine with the simple warm toned white paint on the walls create a very relaxing yet luxurious space.
Now these are definitely some of the most fun bathroom color ideas 2020 that I have seen on this site yet this year. I feel like most people these days tend to go with very safe and understated bathroom wall colors (which I find quite boring), never straying that far from white or grey. I absolutely adore the bright punch of color that the turquoise mosaic tile adds to the entire bathroom. Given that it is a very bold tile pattern, I think that the designer was quite smart in how and where they decided to apply it. Rather than installing it on every surface like you often do with tile in the bathroom, she mixed it with plain white square tile to break up the bright color.
As I am sure that everybody on here can tell from these photos, I really need to update our master with some fresh new bathroom color ideas 2020. I don't that that I even need to say it, but the orange tile is quite hideous and is definitely bringing down the entire look of our suite. I am fine with the bathroom paint ideas that we swapped out a few years ago (I think that this beige shade is still very much on trend), so it is mostly the tile and countertops that I believe simply need to be gutted and forgotten. With that being said, with the tile gone I feel like we have a whole knew world of possibilities open to us as far as where we want to take the color palette.
