It can be really expensive to completely gut and start over with bathroom designs, so I wanted to figure out a way that I could simply upgrade our old tile and vanity to still be current with todays trends.

This is definitely one of the most show-stopping homes in the bathroom remodel photo gallery that I was scrolling through to get inspiration for our new townhouse that is currently under construction. The overall vibe of the home is very contemporary but with a warmer touch brought in through a lot of woods and matte black metal like they used here. I wanted our master bathroom design ideas to reflect the overall style of the home (and powder room as well) and to be a work of art in itself. I think that the room in these photos definitely fits the bill. This master bathroom has been a long time coming as we have spent hours and hours planning it, picking out the materials, and then ultimately remodeling the place. I don't even think that these bathroom pictures do justice to how beautiful it looks in person now. We went back and forth quite a bit trying to decide if we wanted to go with a soft beige stone tile or the marble look that is so popular these days. Ultimately we like the overall color palette and price of the stone better, so we based the entire look off of that. I love looking through a bathroom remodel photo gallery because they give you so many ideas for designs that you may never have thought of before. For example, I really like how this designer used multiple different types of tile in these bathroom renovations in order to create decorative accents on the floor and on the walls. My favorite part is probably the black and charcoal grey pattern behind the mirrors that looks like wallpaper but is actually a miniature subway tile installed vertically! I think that it is such a cool accent to the black vanity and plain grey tile that is on the floors and walls (like wainscoting). I am definitely full of bathroom remodel ideas after looking at these photos and cannot wait to find a project to take on.

I never thought that I would actually get home design inspiration from a bathroom remodel photo gallery because I like to be super creative and unique with my own home. I hate the thought of mimicking somebody else's idea because I feel that it cheapens the look as it is just a replicate. That does not mean that I don't look through bathroom remodel pictures every so often -- I actually find it very relaxing and a great way to turn my mind off in the evenings. Surprisingly though, I found this awesome contemporary style master on the last gallery I looked in and I fell in love with it so much so that I want to actually recreate several aspects of the look. I have never seen an island in any bathroom ideas photo gallery that I have looked through, but I think it is a brilliant way to add unique decor and function to the space. It is definitely an idea that I want to use in our house.

I don't think that I have ever looked at a bathroom remodel photo gallery without getting some sort of awesome inspiration for our home. This particular gallery was absolutely brimming of grey bathroom ideas and, quite frankly, makes me want to renovate my entire house to this gorgeous contemporary yet classic motif. I love just about everything about this room from the ashy grey herringbone floor to the marble tile taken up to the vaulted ceiling and everything in between. I could easily take inspiration from this bathroom design gallery and translate it to all areas of my home like the kitchen and even living and dining areas. The flooring, color palette, and trim detailing alone is enough to set a home apart from so many others that guests may walk into.
