I definitely think that grayish blues are some of the best bathroom paint colors because they give off such a serene ambiance and go so well with a lot of the common building materials you find in these spaces. As you can see from these bathroom colors pictures of our master, we used this shade to create a smokey contrast against the crisp white panelling that goes halfway up the walls. I loved this color in particular because it brought out the subtle blue undertones of our marble tile and granite countertops. The best paint for bathrooms makes you feel serene and at peace the second you walk through the door, and this is definitely the case in here. I am actually considering using this shade in a couple of other areas at home.
Our designer told us that a light grey blue shade would be the best bathroom paint colors for our master suite given the overall warm beige tone of the tile used throughout. I admit, I am not sure that I am loving these bathroom color schemes -- I feel like the entire space looks a bit disjointed and random. What do you all think -- is this on trend or was it a poorly chosen color palette? I am certainly no designer so I do not really have the answers to those questions. I adore the beige tiles that we used everywhere and I really like the old world feel that the rich wood trim and matching vanity give to the space. I see where she was trying to go with the design, and how she was attempting to incorporate popular bathroom colors 2022 to keep it on trend, but I fear that the look fell flat.
I am wondering what everybody's opinions on the best bathroom paint colors for resale are within today's trendy styles. I know that most realtors generally say that you should always focus on simple and neutral bathroom wall colors to appeal to a wide range of buyers, but I wonder if that will be too boring and not show people the potential of a space. This is our current master bathroom decor (I know it is outdated). We are trying to strategize what changes we should make within our small upgrade budget before we list it. I assume that the tan walls and accents on the jacuzzi need to go, but I am not sure what bathroom color ideas would blend well with the brownish tile floors. Perhaps a simple white would be our best bet and keep everything crisp and fresh.
I am one of the designers that buys into the school of thought that neutrals make the best bathroom paint colors. In these rooms especially, your decorative accents like tile, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures etc. make a huge design impact and, as such, should be the highlight of the space. I do not want my carefully thought out (and expensive) tile designs to compete with the bathroom paint ideas that I used. When not covered in decorative tile, walls should blend into the background and provide a nice, albeit simple and minimalistic, foundation to the rest of the room's design. I would say that my top bathroom paint colors 2022 primarily fall in this taupey beige shade like we used in this stunning master, but also creamy whites and very soft grays make the list as well.
I may not know much about what are considered the best bathroom paint colors these days, but I do know that peach isn't it. I will admit that before we moved into this house, I didn't really look too closely at the bathroom pictures because I was too distracted by how much I like the location of the home. Once we actually got in here, I realized that we really needed to work on painting a lot of the rooms that don't fall in the primary living area (all of that is painted a nice trendy grey). This discovery set me on a journey to find the best paint color for small bathroom that looks modern but still fits in with the classic elegance of our architectural style. I assume that I should probably carry the neutral grey theme into here as well, but if anybody has other ideas, please let me know!
I am a firm believer that the best bathroom paint colors are neutrals because there is so much going on in these rooms, that you don't want to overwhelm the design with a bold shade on the wall. Simple is definitely best whether you are in need of small bathroom ideas or inspiration for a huge master suite. This is one of those rooms (like the kitchen) that has so many potentially decorative elements, that you really need to pick and choose where you bring in bold design and where you let things remain more subtle. This is the reason that I tend to choose neutral paint colors for bathrooms -- because I would rather flex my design skills on an awesome retro style vanity like we did here or a gorgeous tiled shower design.
