I have done a lot of different trades in my past -- I've worked in electrical, plumbing and a little bit of carpentry -- I just don't really know how to space out the projects. I love taking on cool bathroom remodel ideas like this though, so I think it will be a fun project.

Okay I am going to need some ideas on how to remodel a bathroom really quick because this is what we are working with in our new house. I am sure that it was at the height of fashion and style in its day (what the 1980s?) but it really isn't doing it for me now and I need to get a bathroom remodel 2022 going asap to bring it into this millennium. I actually like the concept of what they have going on here and even the floor plan. My main grievances are with the glass block wall and the black tile. The marble is very chic and in, so if we can recycle that into our new design, I would be all for it. So perhaps I need to start by asking for bathroom tile ideas that incorporate this older marble.

When we first started renovating our home, my biggest fear was how to remodel a bathroom without spending tons and tons of money. I had always heard from friends, family and even websites that, other than kitchens, even a small bathroom remodel are the most expensive home renovation projects that a homeowner could take on. We had something very specific in mind, so we were able to bargain hunt for materials at least, making it a lot less expensive than it could have been. Most people would start with the master bath, but I actually wanted to begin with guest bathroom ideas as a practice then move on to our master later. I am so glad we did that because we learned so much about the process and where you should spend versus save money.

I just need a step by step process of when to install each element.

I decided to practice how to remodel a bathroom on our tiny guest bath because I was too nervous to jump right into our giant master suite (although that will be my next project). Small bathroom ideas feel far less intimidating to me because there is only a small area that you need to tile, paint, etc. leaving less potential room for error. Believe it or not, I actually tiled this room myself -- notice the large tile blocks that I picked so that it would be easier for a novice like me to install. This saved me so much money in the long run on this bathroom remodel even though there was definitely a time consuming learning curve when I was figuring out how to install it. Everything else I did myself also, from the frameless shower door and vanity installation, to wiring the new sconces and everything in between.

Now, without a doubt, this is how to remodel a bathroom in style the right way I say! Just when I thought that I had gone through every picture on here and resigned myself to the fact that all bathroom design ideas 2022 all looked the same, I stumbled across this gem of a room that brings all the glamour and gildedness that I could ever want! I don't know what my favorite part of this room is -- the luxe gold patterned wall paper or that divine walk in shower with classic subway tile walls and antiqued brass fixtures. Quite frankly I think that it is all to die for and definitely something that I would recreate in my home in two second flat. I have always been partial to a subway tile bathroom, and this love just escalates even further when you combine it with chic gold touches. Bravo, I say, bravo!
