I love this fresh twist on kitchen cabinet colors 2020 that doesn't stray from from your standard monochromatic look but has a distinctly modern tone. We have been thinking about converting our space to a grey and white kitchen like this for the past few days (we are a spur of the moment decorating type of people). Even though I like to jump on projects quickly, I always make sure to do a lot of research so first so that I know that I am not committing to a look that is not going to look current or trendy. I always like to have the latest styles in my home (which leads to these last minute decorating projects). I think that this inspiration photo has fantastic white kitchen ideas 2020 that are definitely the latest look, but that still has some longevity and will continue to look very current over time.
Do you guys think that these will still be popular kitchen cabinet colors 2020 or are they considered to be on the way out? I know that, in general, a plain white finish is pretty classic as far as cabinet paint colors, but the glazed look that we have on here looks a little bit 2005 to me. I love a French country look in my personal home, but I feel that it may be a little bit dated to other people. My husband and I tend to get the new house itch every few years and, not that we necessarily always move, but we like to have the freedom of knowing that our house will be very marketable at a moments notice. We have been tossing around various painting kitchen cabinets ideas to just update the space a little bit without spending much, but we aren't sure if it is really necessary.
I am loving seeing the really dark and rich tones that have become so popular in kitchen cabinet colors 2020. In most recent years we have seen very neutral and monochromatic designs become popular all over the home and especially in the kitchen cabinet paint colors that designers are choosing. While this does create a lovely blank canvas for just about any design you could want to create, it is a little bit boring in my eyes. I have always been a fan of rich bold designs -- in the kitchen especially. The home photographed here has long been one of my favorite "inspiration designs" because it is very in your face so to speak, but still not overwhelming.
I am seeing a lot of white in the trending kitchen cabinet colors 2020 which is not at all surprising to me because they provide such a fantastic neutral base to just about any design. White kitchen designs like this are some of my favorites because they are so versatile both as far as style and what decor you put with them and around the rest of the adjacent living areas. Clearly this space leans more contemporary because of the wood grain accents on the walls and floors that they paired with the simple monochromatic cabinetry, but you could definitely transform the room to a more traditional look by using different wall coverings.
For some reason I thought that kitchen popular kitchen cabinet colors 2020 would graduate to a more vibrant palette, but here I am looking at this year's idea guides and basically all I see are monochromatic white looks. Don't get me wrong, I am all for painting cabinets white like this very stylish home because I think that it gives you an awesome basic foundation for just about any design. My only thing is that it is just so dang boring! Yeah yeah, I know that you can add style and personality in through accent colors, but sometimes I want to make a bold statement with my cabinets alone. A lot of people have told me that blues and green are going to be popular kitchen colors this year, so I want to see somebody with enough balls to install full on green cabinetry in their home.
I absolutely adore what is trending in kitchen cabinet colors 2020 because it fits perfectly with the overall style of my home. White, grey and blue is pretty much my favorite color combination so, when I saw it pop up repeatedly in the most popular kitchen ideas 2020, I was jumping for joy because it meant that my house would be considered very "in" and high end now. These are some photos of my kitchen that I designed myself (I am very proud of this). When I started planning out everything, the only thing that I knew for sure is that I wanted to incorporate grey kitchen ideas with pops of blue as an accent.
