As I am sure you can tell from these photos that I posted of our home, I am in some dire need of landscaping ideas 2022 to update the drab front yard. I posted all of these photos on here with the hope of bending your ear for some advice on what type of look I should go for. I do not have a green thumb by any means and, to be honest, the thought of taking on the front yard landscaping on my own is really daunting. I don't even know where to begin. The one thing I know is that I hate all of the shrubbery that lines the base of our foundation and the circular bed in the center of the drive way. I want to rip all of that out and replace it with more elegant evergreens or something of that nature. If anybody has more specific landscaping ideas for front of house please let me know, I am all ears!
I would love to get some input on everybody's thoughts on these Southwest style landscaping ideas 2022 that seem to be trending everywhere so heavily right now. Let's be realistic, I am certainly nowhere near an expert on garden design, but it doesn't seem like this particular style is really translatable to a lot of climates or architectural themes. I think that it looks so fantastic in this lovely Western desert setting, but how would I translate that to a colder climate on the East Coast. I know that trends are not meant to be taken everywhere and that you can take elements of inspiration designs like this and make it your own (which I would love to do in this case), I guess I am just curious how this jumped to popularity. For me, I will take snippets of their trendy patio landscaping 2022 ideas and carry that into our outdoor entertaining areas, but that is about it.
If this is what all of the popular landscaping ideas 2020 look like, then I can't wait to see what this next year has in store! I think that this California home has such a fun look (like literally with the putting green on the left side of the yard). I would never have even considered half of these garden design ideas had I not seen this picture. First of all, planting cacti in my yard has never even crossed my mind, let alone using them has decorative boarding around all of the walkways. I did not realize how vibrant and colorful they could be until I found these photos. I had not really planned on doing much with our landscape design 2020, but this house really makes me want to revamp our property and turn it into something special.

I don't know why I am having so much trouble narrowing down what landscaping ideas 2022 I want to use in our backyard, but it feels like it is taking me ages to not only get inspired, but also to compile a collection of photos to give to our contractor. This whole project all stemmed from our random desire to upgrade our current patio designs to something a little bit more hip or modern looking. I would love a flagstone patio like this because I think that it is a really elegant look and has a little bit more color than other things that I have seen. From this small project emerged the larger desire to completely revamp our backyard landscape design to be just as shiny and new as our patio. I gravitated towards these photos because the entire space looks lush but not quite like a jungle if you know what I mean.
I am loving these landscaping ideas 2022 that emphasize well manicured vibrant green lawns and very structural topiaries. I did not realize how important things like landscaping shrubs were until I moved into a house that had absolutely nothing! Building your own home is fantastic but, for some reason, I never thought about the fact that I would have a bare lot that I would need to landscape when all was said and done. Now I am on here looking around for trendy front yard landscaping ideas 2022 that I can use to finish off the space without spending a ton of money hiring a dedicated designer for the project. Now that I have found photos like this I know the vibe that I am going for, but that certainly does not mean that I know where to find this stuff. Guess that is the next item of research on my agenda!
