I decided to imitate this luxury bath in our master by choosing a similar travertine tile and accenting it with soft grey paint and beautiful brushed nickel fixtures like they did.

I am sure that we all want a home filled with luxury bathrooms but, above all, the first thing that I want to accomplish when we move into our new place is creating an awesome master suite that mimics this beautiful California dream house design. I love that this particular space has all of the features of a modern bathroom but it still manages to look very classic, likely due to the elegant color scheme of all white and dark wood paired with gorgeous marble countertops. I find that ultra contemporary spaces tend to intimidate people and not necessarily attract them to a design. I think that the beautiful bathrooms in this house are so unique because they teeter on the edge of modern but are still warm and welcoming to all style preferences.

Some of my favorite design projects are luxury bathrooms for my clients that aren't afraid to take design risks or think outside of the box. I get bored easily and am always trying to find and implement the latest and greatest things. So many bathroom designs these days (even the trendy ones) tend to be very cookie cutter both with their layout as well as the overall decor scheme and materials. This grey and white bathroom is actually one of my favorite projects that I have taken on to date because I was able to use a tone of luxury bathroom ideas that I had been compiling for awhile. I love that we created almost a sun room vibe by placing the gorgeous soaking tub in front of a corner of windows, then brought warmth and coziness with faux fur rugs, plush robes, and soft lighting.

Perhaps my favorite part is that they did not try to jumble together a ton of the popular bathroom ideas 2022, but instead stuck with simple lines, great details, and a very monochromatic color palette. Over the years I have grown accustomed to planning out luxury bathrooms for clients but I never had time to come up with a great design for my own home. This year was finally the year that I was able to remodel our home and install a gorgeous luxury master bathroom for myself. I took all of my favorite materials, designs, and installation techniques that I have compiled over the years for clients, and put them all together to create this lavish grey and white design. I knew that I wanted to use marble as the primary tile because of it's classic look and high end feel. I kept the bathroom layout feeling open and spacious (magnified by the simple and bright color palette) by keeping all of the larger features such as shower, jacuzzi, and vanities at the perimeter of the room.

I am pretty sure that all luxury bathrooms that I have seen lately include some sort of out of this world shower design. I thought that this circular space was one of my favorite luxury bathroom showers that I have seen lately because it is just so unique (and I'm sure costly to make). Not only is it incredibly spacious and has a great architectural detailing to it, but it also features a steam component. You may not be able to tell from these bathroom pictures, but you can seal off the stall and turn it into a luxurious steam room. Not only is this a fantastic selling feature for the future, but it is also incredibly relaxing and quite beneficial for your health, making it a win win in my book.
