This designer did such a good job on the screened in porch ideas at this home, although it probably was not tough to do given the amazing view that they have. I love how the color palette of all of the porch decor is a variety of blue shades that perfectly coordinate with the tones of the water and sky. What a beautiful way to not only create a wonderful design, but also really emphasize the splendor of their property and the water beyond. While I definitely do not have a view this wonderful at my home, I would like to replicate some of their back porch ideas in our own covered porch. I used similar shades of blue throughout the rest of the decor at our home, so I think that extending the same theme outside would make everything feel very cohesive and elegant.
When it comes to screened in porch ideas, I definitely think that less is more because the beauty of nature can act as all the decor that you really need in here. Our screened in porch is actually my favorite spot in the entire house, because most members of my family never think to hang out there. It makes it my special little area that I can go to relax if I want to be by myself. We also use it occasionally for entertaining when the weather is nice and we don't want to venture all the way outside. My favorite thing about our porch design is actually twofold -- I love the vaulted ceiling with the panelling because it feels so coastal, and I also like the comfy furniture that I spent quite some time picking out.

I don't really understand why screened in porch ideas tend to get overlooked in the realm of diy projects. These are some of the most fun rooms to work on because you can be a little bit more bold and creative than you otherwise would on your interiors, plus they are just such nice rooms to spend time in on a beautiful day. I have been looking through a lot of pictures of screened in porches on here lately because I am actually getting read to overhaul ours. I really want to create a space that extends the style of my interior living spaces, but with an added layer of whimsy that I think is very fitting for outdoor spaces. This is what it currently looks like, but I really like it is lacking in much pizazz. The current decor is nice and neutral, but I really want some more colorful porch ideas to jazz things up.
It may sound crazy, but the screened in porch ideas that the previous owners added to this home is what totally sold it for me. The view from this waterfront property is absolutely to die for, and I don't think that there is a better way to enjoy it than on this beautiful screened in deck. Of course there are other areas in this home that I liked (the kitchen is so lovely as well), but I definitely spend the most time in this spot right here. I start and end my days on that sofa staring out at the water with a cup of coffee or glass of wine (depending on the time of day haha). With summer coming, I would like to update this covered porch just a little bit so it has more of our personality out here. Even something as simple as a rug and some throw pillows would go far I think.
This home has pretty much all of my favorite screened in porch ideas that I have seen on here, all wrapped up into one space. We decided to graduate from our old and tattered fabric patio covers to an actual permanent outdoor living space this year, so I am in the midst of planning out exactly what I want it to look like. Ordinarily we wouldn't bother to spend money on a project like this, but we have found ourselves spending so much time outdoors lately, whether it is entertaining or simply enjoying a cup of coffee and a book in the morning, so we figured it would be a good place to spend some of our extra cash. I love all covered patio ideas that incorporate some sort of raised paneled ceiling as well as exposed brick. Those architectural details alone are all the decor that you need, anything else is just icing on the cake.
