Unless I am trying to do a very bold design, I tend to avoid dark opaque colors on the walls (especially in a bathroom) because they can quickly overwhelm a space. After uploading my last post, I wanted to add some more angles of our master bedroom that we painted in sherwin Williams agreeable gray. I am certainly not the best at picking out paint colors, so I relied on the ever handy internet to help me find the right sherwin williams popular gray shade for our space. Agreeable gray was definitely the fan favorite so I decided to go ahead, take a leap, and give it a try. Good news is I absolutely love it! Now when it comes to the particular shades in the range, I find that they best sherwin williams gray for bathroom applications is definitely agreeable grey because it has a subtle warmth to it that gives it depth, but not too much to where it clashes against the cooler tones of marble and most chromes and nickel finishes.

A couple years ago we painted our entire house in this taupey beige shade from Benjamin Moore (pictured here), but now I am having some serious buyers remorse as I keep seeing gorgeous pictures sherwin Williams agreeable gray painted rooms. From what I can tell, that is definitely the "it" color nowadays and I can certainly see why. I feel like it is definitely a true gray paint color with no undertones and, as such, would blend well with virtually any other finishes or accents that you have in your home. Admittedly, it was pretty challenging to find a paint color that would match the warm wood of our stair treads, the cool grey shades in the granite floor, and the dark bronze railings (which is probably why I don't love this color). But now that I am getting more familiar with other popular Sherwin williams paint colors, I definitely think we are going to have to redo the space. Sorry honey!
