This is probably the most gorgeous subway tile shower that I have seen so far during my research for our new master bathroom renovations. I have been spending a lot of time looking at tiled showers pictures trying to figure out exactly what look and pattern we want to use in our master. Tile is definitely the most expensive budget item in the renovation and really sets the tone for color palette and style in the space so I want to make sure I make the right decision. To be honest, none of the other tile patterns that I have seen have really stood out to me like subway does. I love this subway tile bathroom because I think that it could be considered a modern space or a traditional space depending on how you decorate it and what colors you accent it with. I think that this versatility is really important in homes just in case you sell it later.
When we started our renovations, I knew that I wanted a subway tile shower but beyond that I wasn't quite sure how to transition into the rest of the space. After looking through these photos, I actually really like what they did with the bathroom tiles design here because they used the subway material to cover the rest of the walls as a simple yet chic accent. It is pretty much an all white room, but the grey grout lines give just a touch of color and prevent it from looking two stark and institutional. If you are stuck trying to figure out the rest of your design like I was, I would definitely suggest checking out some pictures of bathrooms with white subway tile because I can pretty much guarantee that you will be inspired by something that you see.
This subway tile shower was definitely the selling point of this townhouse for me -- I think it has such a classic vintage charm but with all of the modern amenities that you could want. A white subway tile bathroom had been on my dream home list for many years, but I certainly did not think that I would get such an amazing feature in my first home. So many people had told me to prepare myself to settle and begin with a starter home that I could eventually renovate to make my own, but I truly believed I could find something that was turnkey. This home was truly meant to be because, beyond the gorgeous and trendy shower tile ideas 2022 that were already in here, just about everything else about it from the flooring to the kitchen is exactly what I would have picked out for myself.
My interior designer told me that a subway tile shower is a classic look that will never go out of style, so it would be a good choice for our renovations. I am so glad that we listened to here because I think that the bathroom tiles look so fantastic against the rest of our contemporary materials and decorative accents. Not to mention, the crisp white tile is so easy to keep clean because you don't have to worry about cleaning products altering the color of it like you do with some materials. This may sound silly, but I was worried that the shower would look like a subway tile backsplash so, if you are anything like me and are on the fence, I say go for it! You will certainly not regret this one design decision.
The other day when I went to Lowe's I saw this awesome "fake" subway tile shower surround that all you have to do is glue in place and it will look like you have a brand new designer shower. Obviously I was intrigued by this new technology because it would allow you to add those super trendy bathroom tile ideas to your home super quickly and easily and probably for quite a bit less than the cost of actual marble tile. I jumped on here to try to find some photos of this thing in use and, of course, I was able to find some after a few minutes. I was so impressed by these subway tile bathroom pictures because it looks just like the real thing, but only I know that it is not. This definitely confirmed my decision to go back and make a purchase.
This is such a beautiful and classic subway tile shower -- probably one of the best overall designs that I have seen in awhile. I am not quite sure if my eyes or the lighting is playing tricks on me but I think that they used dove grey tile as opposed to the stark white that you usually see. If so, I could definitely see this being a huge trend in shower tile designs 2022 because of how popular that grey shade has been in kitchen cabinets and walls lately. I definitely think that a slightly different shade than white would be a really pretty and unique addition to a neutral bathroom when you want to do something a little bit different but still keep it safe style-wise. I am all for mixing up subway tile bathroom ideas because they are such a classic look that never really goes out of style.
