I think that these are awesome walk in shower ideas for small bathrooms because the marble tile is bold enough to make this feature a focal point in the space, but yet it is still quite neutral so as not to overwhelm the room. If you are looking for small bathroom designs with shower tile that is not necessarily white but that still falls in a somewhat neutral family, I think that this one could definitely be the inspo photo for you. I really like the mix and match tile that, again, breaks of the space and provides a lot of visual interest to an otherwise very neutral room. I can see this trending strongly in shower tile ideas 2022 because it is a look that is so universal to size and style.
I am happy to see walk in shower ideas for small bathrooms that do not incorporate a single speck of white in the entire design. I think that designers have become too obsessive with bright white bathrooms thinking that they will make all of the square footage woes disappear. Sure small shower ideas probably appear larger if they are done in a simple white tile, but that does not bring much style or personality to a room. I much prefer risking that the space feel a little bit crowded than for people to think that it was a boring or unimaginative design. For this latest guest bathroom that we did, I steered clear of "safe" walk in shower designs and instead went with this bold tan and beige stall with a picture window made of an alternating pattern. I think it brings a lot of visual interest to the overall design.
Walk in shower ideas for small bathrooms have a tendency to look over crowded and almost like an afterthought, if I am being honest. That is why I was so impressed with the walk in shower ideas that they used in this fairly small space. The shower looks absolutely huge and, perhaps more importantly, the scale stills feels right for the square footage of the room. I have to say that I am surprised they used this grey tile because most designers suggest going very neutral with all of the major material so as to give the illusion of more space. I respect the decision to be bold though because it definitely worked out well in this room. I would definitely earmark this home if anybody researching ideas for small bathroom makeovers on here.

I have seen a ton of really nice white walk in shower ideas for small bathrooms on here and, although our space is really not that small, I would like to mimic some of those rooms in here. I am not a person that likes really bold shower designs -- obviously a shower is an essential part of the room, but I would prefer to imagine that it is not there. I think that if I did a simple white subway tile like the designers use to make showers seemingly disappear in smaller spaces, we can focus on other areas of the room to pack most of the decor punch. Outside of simple bathroom shower ideas, I would really like to bring in a patterned marble floor (maybe herringbone) and a bold vanity in some color other than white.
A ton of the walk in shower ideas for small bathrooms that I have seen on here are basic white or, if they are being a little crazy, a nice marble tile pattern (usually a herringbone). The small bathroom designs in this photo definitely stand out as my favorite because the homeowners were not afraid to incorporate both color and pattern into their fairly small master. If I had to pick one element of the room that I like the most, it would definitely be the artistic colored inset tiles that accent the plain travertine boarders both in the shower as well as on the vanity. You don't really need any other decorative small bathroom ideas than that because they really pack a visual punch and provide just the right amount of color in here.
