This is probably the coolest design out of all of the luxury swimming pools that I have seen throughout my career as a real estate photographer. I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world photographing real estate that is about to be put on the market or featured in design magazines. Through this I have seen countless luxury pool ideas that I would love to bring back home to our property. The thing that sticks out about this particular design the most to me is the castle vibe that is has, and the fact that the pool goes all the way up to both patios and the doorway to the living room. I have never seen residential inground swimming pools that do this, but it is such a cool way to really maximize the backyard.
From what I can tell after looking at a million photos on here, is that luxury swimming pools are not complete without some sort of awesome LED lighting effect either on the deck or actually built into the liner. While I may not have a luxury swimming pool design, I am so down with some cool lighting to brighten up our backyard entertaining areas and make it extra fun for the kids. I am not usually a bold color kind of person, but I actually really enjoy the bright purple lights that they used here, especially when paired with the ultra aqua blue water (not to mention that gorgeous night sky). Let me know though -- are these swimming pool ideas something that only professionals can install or is it a project that a somewhat competent homeowner like myself could tackle?
If you are going to define luxury swimming pools, I do not think that you can possibly leave out this indoor beauty. I know that this is probably a pretty niche market as not many people have the money or space to invest in something like this. However, for those that can afford something like that, glamorous indoor pool ideas like this one would be an epic addition to the home. The key to the success of this design was the very chic spa-like atmosphere that they created with the wood paneled ceiling and flagstone floor. These are things you may normally see on a back patio, but they work just as well in here. This is not to say that you couldn't take the concept these pool ideas 2020 and translate them into a fully outdoor application.
Many homeowners do not realize that those awesome luxury swimming pools that you see in magazines or online are actually not that extensive of a project. Believe it or not, achieving a luxury swimming pool design like that is really about planning, landscaping, and careful staging -- all of which you can do on just about any budget with some research. These photos are actually of our own backyard. I like to think that it looks like something much more special and high end. My wife and I found an "inspiration photo" as she called it that we basically copied. All of the landscaping was done on our own and we did the grunt work of designing the rest. Now we have one of the nicest backyard pools on our street, and I bet we paid a fraction of the price that our neighbors did.
Even among luxury swimming pools, this awesome marshy design absolutely stands out from the rest. To be honest, I probably would not have know that this was an actual swimming pool if I had not been a part of building it. My company specializes in installing pool designs and often takes on projects like this in larger homes. I have seen some awesome pool designs throughout my career, but this one is definitely my favorite. Between the fountains and the gas fire element you have a cool contrast in noice and colors, then the inset reeds give the look of being in an actual marsh. If you like unique home designs, I would definitely save these pictures of inground pools because it would be the perfect thing to replicate.
I know that not everybody is ready to add luxury swimming pools like this to their backyard, but my goodness are they still fun to look at! Nothing wrong with a little bit of dreaming, am I right? I went down a rabbit hole looking at pool landscaping ideas 2020, and now I am convinced that my husband and I need to install one in preparation for this summer. This particular home is probably my favorite "inspiration" design as they say, but there is no way that we have the space or money to achieve that this year. We are looking into similar kidney-shaped backyard pool designs done in a deep indigo, and we will accent it with tropical landscaping elements.
