Gray and white bathroom ideas are great and all (especially if you are trying to keep things neutral), but I find that they lack in much personality for my own style. However, this homeowner managed to stay with the trendy simple white bathroom ideas but add small elements here and there that took the design to a much more interesting level. I really like the small touches like the plank ceiling, dark wood shelves on the vanities, and even the choice of light fixtures which feel more akin to a kitchen. If it were my home, I probably would have gone with a lighter shade of gray bathroom paint, but that is just because I typically go for more light and airy color palettes. Overall, this is definitely something I could see doing in my home.
When I came on here looking for gray and white bathroom ideas, this home is exactly the thing that I had in mind. Some people would call me basic or bougey, but there is nothing that I love more than an elegant grey and white bathroom with gorgeous marble tile, richly painted walls, and plush white bath linens. It looks just like a super luxurious hotel, but in the comforts of your own home. Since we finally have the budget to take care of our master, I am gathering together all of my favorite images to give to our contractor so we can get a plan together. I know for sure that this gray tile bathroom is going to be at the top of the list, mostly for the tile patterns and detailing that they used throughout. I love a herringbone pattern, especially done in rich gray marble like they did.
I found this photo in one of the gray and white bathroom ideas galleries and, although I don't really like it for that theme, I am wondering if anybody knows the shade of paint on the wall? In general, I am not exactly the biggest fan of this room as far as the finishes, boring white bathroom tiles, and overall lack of decor. However, the cheerful almost periwinkle toned grey shade on the wall would be perfect for our kids bathroom. I think it is the right level of neutral to grow with them throughout the years, but still as a level of fun and playfulness that I think should be present in kid-geared spaces. So if anybody could weigh in with guesses on what color this is, or even if you had other bathroom paint ideas of a similar style, please weigh in!
I love this departure from the typical gray and white bathroom ideas that you see on here all the time. I suppose that in a way this room could be considered a shade of gray, but I categorize it as a nice taupe or tan color that definitely falls into a warmer and more rustic category. While I do like the oh-so-trendy gray bathroom ideas with marble tile and ship lap walls as much as the next person, I have kind of grown tired of that overdone theme. This room presents a great alternative that still falls into the neutral zone, but has more zest and contemporary styling than others I have seen on here. I definitely think that this space would be in the category of best bathroom ideas 2022 for me.
Gray and white bathroom ideas are certainly plentiful on here, and I am assuming that they are just as popular as they have always been elsewhere. Bathroom makeovers are some of my favorite projects to flip through on here because I love a good before and after shot. Something about seeing the transition from old to new really inspires me, perhaps because it helps me to see the potential in rooms or entire homes that others may not. I think that this gives me an advantage when purchasing homes or rental properties because you can see past the outdates or ugly decorating, and envision the beautiful bathrooms like this that you could create. So many people get hung up on wall paint color or ugly tile.
When I think of gray and white bathroom ideas I expect to see bright soft gray walls, a simple subway or even marble tile, and understated but elegant accents. This gray and white bathroom is definitely a departure from the picture that I just painted for everyone. Despite the much darker and moodier vibe, I am actually really digging this room and admire whomever styled the space. I picture this as the guest bath of a super trendy downtown loft in NYC or something, but watch it just be a powder room in your average midwestern suburban home haha. The one thing that I may change slightly if it were my house is the large gray bathroom tile ideas that they used for the walls of the shower. It is a little bit too blocky for my style, and feels a bit institutional like a prison haha.
