Okay, I am curious as to everyones thoughts here, how do you feel about the "trendy" backsplash tile ideas 2022 in this photo that our designer is suggesting for our kitchen. We have pretty much the entire design picked out except of the kitchen backsplash tile that will be used behind the stove as well as between the upper and lower cabinets throughout the room. We are doing white shaker style cabinets with a black island very similar to this. In addition it will be all marble countertops, matte black pulls, and brass fixtures. I have looked through a lot of pictures of popular kitchen design ideas in 2022 but nothing has a backsplash that really jumps out to me as a "must have." That is why I am almost willing to just commit to this in order to have something picked out, you know?

When we moved into this house, I thought that there was absolutely nothing that had to be done with it. That is until I actually looked at the walls of our kitchen and realized that we needed to get some new backsplash tile ideas 2022 in here ASAP. The whole kitchen is done with super high end materials and an awesome contemporary design. I really don't understand why they dropped the ball when they got to the backsplash tile ideas. In my personal opinion, the white square tiles behind the range hood and elsewhere feel very cheap and out of place compared to the rest of the stuff in here. I am certainly nowhere near an expert on kitchen backsplash designs, but I just have to believe that there is something better out there that would accent or even enhance the rest of the design. Does anybody have thoughts on what that could be?

It goes with out saying that I came on here looking for backsplash tile ideas 2022 inspiration and advice. You don't have to be a design genius to recognize that tan square tiles with silver inset accent pieces are not exactly the height of style these days. I figured that I would post some of our kitchen backsplash pictures in hopes that somebody on here would have advice on the direction that we should take. Originally I had thought to just do white subway tile, but I did not think that it would look good against the more cream colored cabinets. And doing a beige subway tile would be way too close to what we already have. What are some of the other trending kitchen backsplash ideas 2022 that would not look bad bumped up against off-white cabinetry?

These were just the backsplash tile ideas 2022 that I needed to make a decision on what we should do in our kitchen. I have been looking high and low on the inter webs for kitchen backsplash ideas with white cabinets that are not your typical marble or subway tile, but that are still neutral enough not to take over the entire design. I am not quite sure how to describe the tile that they used here other than exactly what I was looking for haha. It almost looks like a mother of pearl seashell or something along those lines and it has a lovely incongruous stacked pattern that is reminiscent of the subway tile but so much chicer and more contemporary. I think that this will go absolutely perfectly in our gray and white kitchen, and I can't wait to source it.

It is amazing what a huge difference just adding in some backsplash tile ideas 2022 did to our kitchen. As you can see, it is not the most updated design on here overall. We still have our original cabinets and the paint color could definitely use some work (that is our next project), but we did switch out the kitchen tile ideas for this new stone subway look and I could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. Before we had tan square tiles that really showed the age of the space and did us no favors. So many of the beautiful kitchens that I have seen on here showcase subway tile their backsplash of choice, so I figured that it didn't hurt to take the plunge. Boy was I glad we did!
