Bedroom Ideas
Intricate bathroom tiles design like this can really escalate a space from an ordinary room to an extraordinary decor concept. In my interior design projects I like to incorporate bold bathroom tile ideas that make a strong statement on their own. I keep the rest of the design quite simple with monochromatic paint palettes and neutral cabinetry. In this particular space we went with simple shaker paneled unit with a glazed white finish and used Benjamin Moore Chantilly lace on the walls and trim.

I think these items provided a nice backdrop to the cool herringbone pattern we used on the bathroom flooringin alternating shades of granite tile. As a result, the space has an elegant yet contemporary flare.

When start planning a remodel for a client, one of the first things that I start with is bathroom tiles design because it has such a strong influence on the overall decor scheme of the space as well as (obviously) the color palette. I am known for my traditional master bathroom designs like this one that feature classic materials and timeless looks that will age well with your home, without necessitating updating the space with the latest trends every few years. I think that the key to the longevity of these designs are selecting fairly neutral bathroom floor tiles like this lovely travertine, that provide just enough style to the space to make it interesting without necessarily catching the eye and overwhelming the decor.

Bathroom tiles design are the single item that can really influence the look of one of these small rooms. As you can see from the lovely brown and beige mosaic bathroom wall tiles in this space, the pieces that you choose will determine the overall color palette and decor style that you can use. Whenever I am working with brown tones, I like to add a unique blend of contemporary and earthy elements to make a very organic space. The lovely cherry vanity base with thick white porcelain top is a nice contrast against the darker tile walls. This is also a fantastic technique to use if you need small bathroom tile ideas because you are able to bring all of the decor in just via that element of decor so that you can keep everything else quite minimalistic. This will make the rest of the design feel very open and uncluttered.

When clients ask me how to begin planning their remodel, I always tell them to start with bathroom tiles design because it is often the main decorative focal point in the space. You can infuse the space with awesome style by incorporating artistic shower tile ideas and a glass door to show it off. This kills two birds with one stone, so to speak, because you add a necessary finish to the major element of your space while also establishing the decor scheme and color palette. In this particular contemporary style master suite, we used grey bathroom tiles on the majority of the shower to give it some depth and edginess, but finished the rest in a cool mini subway tile placed on a vertical access to give it a different look than most are used to.

I have been looking around at different types of bathroom tiles design featuring marble or faux marble products because I have been wanting to recreate the gorgeous classic grey and white rooms that I have been seeing a ton of online and in magazines lately. I have always found grey bathroom floor tiles to be a fantastic neutral base to any design because it is simple enough to act as a backdrop to nearly any style, yet bold enough to make the overall look quite interesting. I really like this particular look because the designer went quite dark on the floor tiles, but brightened things up with a traditional marble look on the walls, shower and tub surround. Contrasting the wall tiles design from the floor makes the overall look much more dynamic than it would have been had everything matched perfectly.

An artistic bathroom tiles design like this can really make a space into something utterly fantastic. I love the unique twist on your average subway tile bathroom by using classic marble rather than porcelain. This elevates the entire look to something far more special than a simple geometric white backdrop to the rest of your decor. My favorite part is how they used different sizes and shapes of tile to give the overall pattern more dimensions and decorative interest. You could use bathroom wall tile ideas like this whether you are using marble or not because the key is to simply diversify your pattern in order to add even more style to the overall design. Even though it is an investment to add an intricate design like this, you really dont need to spend much on decor or other accents because it provides a great look on its own.
