All of our waiting has definitely paid off because I absolutely adore the room now and am filled with gratitude every time that I walk in the door. The one thing I know is that I want to get rid of all of this mismatched stone tile and replace it with materials that actually match and coordinate well together.

I am so pleased with how all of the bathroom remodel ideas 2022 that we just installed turned out! As you can see from this photo, we really wanted to do something ultra modern in a very grayscale color palette. I know that some people may consider these to be boring bathroom remodel ideas, but I have always been more drawn to simple and understated designs that really don't bring in a lot of color. I have ADHD (and have since I was a child), so a lot of color, pattern and design can't be quite overwhelming and distracting to me. I really like to center myself in my home and get as relaxed and stimulation free as possible. This small bathroom remodel was a great first step to getting the exact vibe that I want for the rest of the home.

Okay, in full disclosure, I am posting these photos of our master bath in hopes that somebody on here may have some bathroom remodel ideas 2022 for us to give me some direction for our upcoming project. I have know since we moved in that we would need to do a bathroom remodel in here eventually, partly because of the mismatched tile and partly because the style is just ugly in my opinion (no offense to any of you who are into it). I am just not up on the latest trends, so I really don't know what are considered trendy bathroom tile ideas 2022 or which items that I should focus on bringing into the design. My two top priority items are definitely replacing the vanity and replacing the tile.

So many people have been emphasizing marble tiles in popular bathroom remodel ideas 2022 but, quite frankly, I am just not into that whole look anymore (nor have I ever been really). For one, it would have made our master bathroom remodel cost absolutely sky rocket and it also would have completely changed the vibe of the space. I really like earthy materials that make designs look very fresh and organic. I suppose that marble is, in fact, a natural material but it just does not have the same warmth and grounding characteristic of a beautiful travertine stone like we ended up using. I love the combination of the rich dark woods and the warm beige stone, especially in combination with simple white paint and huge windows to show off the view out back. I am so glad that we took a leap on these bathroom makeovers, and did not make it the same cookie cutter look that everybody has been doing lately.

The photos of this home are my inspiration for bathroom remodel ideas 2022 to incorporate in our master suite. We have a very large space much like this, so it can be hard to find design concepts that actually work within that square footage. A lot of the galleries on here are dominated by photos of small bathroom renovations, which are an important category, but do not really help me with what I am looking for. I wanted something that would really emphasize all of the glorious space that we have and feel clean yet luxurious at the same time. The bathroom renovation ideas in these photos evoke that exact feeling and I think would translate very well into our current footprint.
