This is definitely one of the best bathroom designs I have ever seen, both because of the decor and because of the cool modern features that it has. I have looked at a lot of bathroom shower ideas over the years but this one is by far the most unique. I love how it sits directly behind the jacuzzi and provides a fantastic focal point to the space. Not only are is this shower unique because of the placement, but have you ever seen frameless glass doors that tall? Talk about innovative! This is definitely one of those one of a kind bathroom designs that will be imitated by a lot of people on here -- if they have a room that tall and large that is.
I don't know about you all, but I think that the best bathroom designs incorporate bright colors to give some personality to these otherwise stark spaces. This probably is not that popular of an opinion since pretty much all of the popular "hip" and "trendy" bathroom ideas 2020 that are out there right now feature primarily neutrals like grey and beige (boor-ing). I think that people have become scared of using color in their designs (bathrooms or otherwise) in this world of coveted all-white or neutral interiors. Maybe I am just brimming with personality and eccentricity, but I see nothing wrong with color! In fact, I would love to replicate this space for our master bathroom remodel that we are deep in the throws of planning.
In my opinion the best bathroom designs are those that feel open and that feel like any other room in the house. What I mean by that is that I don't want the bathroom remodel ideas that I use in my client's home to look to stark and industrial, but rather a warm and inviting area that has the vibes of a cozy living room or something. Perhaps it is easier to show you than to explain. For this particular home we brought in cabinetry that is very similar to what was used in the kitchen and the custom built ins in the living room. We also did the usual bathroom renovations like add a large walk in shower and upgrade the tile, but I think that the built in style vanities and dressing table really help to elevate the space.
I think that the best bathroom designs are ones that have a ton of storage and a large soaking tub. Beyond all of that, I am pretty open to just about any kind bathroom renovation ideas because I am not picky about color palettes, styles, patterns or anything like that. All that I want out of our bathroom (and any other room in the house really) is to look uncluttered, cohesive, and complete. I hate it when a home looks unfinished or half done if you know what I mean. Even if the decor is not exactly what I want it to be, I at least want it to look "on purpose," you know? All if that being said, we are preparing to upgrade our master suite (before photos posted here) and I am needing some advice on which direction to take it.
I have always thought that the best bathroom designs were ultra glam with tons of unique colors and fixtures. As I have gotten older and have started looking though bathroom remodel pictures in preparation of decorating my own home, I am realizing that oftentimes simple and classic designs actually look more high end. These photos really caught my eye because of how unique each major element is. The beautiful white tub is an unusual shape and style, but really marries together the ultra modern dove grey vanity and the double walk-in showers (how luxurious). I don't know that this look would have worked if they had done anything but an all white and grey color palette.
Obviously the best bathroom designs for your home are extremely personal to you -- they depend on your personal style, how you plan to use the space (outside of the norm), as well as your budget and square footage. There is certainly no "one size fits all" approach to deciding what bathroom design ideas 2020 would work best for your space. If you are embarking on the planning process, I really encourage you to sit down and take some time to list out your major "wants" and "needs." This client specifically requested a dedicated dressing area to put on makeup in the morning as well as two completely separate his and hers vanities. As you can see from the bathroom pictures, we were able to deliver this because of the sheer size of the space.
