I am so proud of the new bathroom ideas that my wife and I decided to incorporate in our master because it looks like something you would see in a magazine. Our bathroom renovation ideas all began with this awesome modern looking vanity that we got on clearance at a local home decor showroom. From here, we decided to also swap out our fixtures to match the gold faucets that came with the vanity. All of the tile remained the same but we did add in the freestanding tub that you can see at the bottom of the bathroom pictures and this rad vanity light that is actually vertical instead of horizontal.
Before we sit down and get started on the remodel planning process, always tell clients to go online and look through every home design gallery that you can find to pick our new bathroom ideas that they love. A lot of times people don't even realize or have the ability to put in words what they like or dislike in terms of style, color palettes, decor theme etc. so it is helpful for me to see a collection of photos that they like. This small bathroom ideas in this picture were actually what inspired the latest design that I have been working on. I was really surprised that the client brought me these photos because I certainly pegged her for more of a traditional style buff based on the decor in the rest of her home.
We would love some new bathroom ideas from any designers or even diy decorators on here because we are pretty stumped with what to do with this space to get rid of the odd dated feel. I know that the previous homeowners put a lot of money and work into the space because it obviously has high end finishings and a unique well thought out design, but it just isn't in line with more current bathroom ideas 2019. The bones of the room are really cool and we have a ton of space, so I think that the bathroom as a lot of potential beyond the odd modern decor and thousands of dollars of peach toned granite. Initially, when we starting thinking about how to remodel a bathroom, we thought to rip out the jacuzzi and tile surround and replace it with a freestanding tub, but we weren't sure what to do with the neighboring walk in shower.
I am always on the hunt for new bathroom ideas because, between our house flips and other small freelance projects I take on, I feel like I am always working on a new plan for a powder room or master bath. It seems like contemporary styles are definitely trending in the bathroom remodel 2019 world, especially ones like this that incorporate a darker color palette of grey and black. It is nice to see edgier trends surfacing because it gives you a lot more leeway to experiment with new design ideas without scaring clients. I especially love the concept of this color palette to use alongside tile shower ideas for small bathrooms.
On my hunt for some new bathroom ideas that are different than all of the other grey and marble designs you see everywhere these days, I found this awesome eclectic space. I am not sure if this room qualifies as a retro or as a modern bathroom design, but I love everything about it regardless. Between the enlarged honeycomb tiles in the walking shower and the stunning brass fixtures and natural wood accents, the entire room has such a cool vibe to it. Admittedly, I would have never thought to put all of these elements together, but that is why looking at these galleries is so helpful. I can't wait to discover more new bathroom ideas for 2020 like this, and begin sculpting out our new design plan.
As you can tell from these "before" pictures, we are in dire need of some new bathroom ideas to take our master from the 1990s into 2020. Obviously I know that the first thing that has to go is definitely the wallpaper -- I mean who even uses wallpaper anymore? Other than that I am pretty clueless on what is trending in master bathroom ideas 2019, so I am pretty much open to anything. I would not say that our design taste leans in one particular direction. We definitely like aspects of traditional designs, but overall probably have more contemporary pieces in our home currently. Furthermore, we are not scared of bathroom renovations at all and have no problem gutting the place if that is what we need to do.
