When I did a quick google of man cave bar ideas, I truly never expected to see the countless epically decorated rooms that immediately come up. I mean some of the man cave designs that people have done in there homes look like an actual bar that you would go have a drink at after work (every man's dream right). Of everything that I saw, this particular design stood out to me because it seemed like the most manageable in an actual residential setting and, overall, I really liked the style that they chose. My husband has always brought up using more rustic home decor but I have dismissed it because it doesn't go with the elegant traditional style that I have been curating. A room like this would be the perfect opportunity for him to put his own design stamp on our home, and I think he would have a lot of fun with it.

Although I have about 5 years of experience in the home design world (and have owned my company for that long) I have actually never done a bar design. That is why I am on here browsing around for man cave bar ideas to prepare some potential design story boards for a client that wants to surprise her husband when he returns from a deployment over seas. I think that a man cave is quite often ever husbands dream because it provides them with a zone to escape to and call their own outside of the rest of the carefully curated rooms in the house. I wanted to keep everything within that same neutral beige palette, but bring in some warm natural woods in order to balance it out with color. Then some old world style fixtures and a great custom bar finished the room off.
