These are probably some of my favorite pictures of kitchen islands, because this unit seems to be the absolute centerpiece of the entire downstairs living area. You can tell that the kitchen island cabinets here serve as the central area in the kitchen (and probably the home) that is large enough to cook, do crafts, organize, finish homework etc. Not only is it just super functional looking, but it is beautiful to look at as well! I love how they did the white cabinetry with the black painted accents that tie in with the door fronts on their bar area. It is such an unexpected touch but one that works really well here. I wish that they designer posted more of these kitchen pictures because I would love to see other angles of the design.
I really enjoy looking at pictures of kitchen islands, partly because I am doing research on what style I should put in our home and partly because they are just my favorite part of the kitchen. In my opinion, kitchen island designs can really make a room because they add so much function and beauty to a space. I do a ton of cooking for my family, and there is nothing better than having a huge clear workspace to do all my prep work or to lay out meal preps and such. I definitely think that more is more when it comes to this particular item, so I am loving the double kitchen island ideas 2020 that are trending this year.
I found this home when I was looking through pictures of kitchen islands and it has definitely inspired my entire remodel. It has a lovely French vibe that goes very well with the style I have going on in the rest of our house, and the scale of their small kitchen island ideas is absolutely perfect for the footprint that we are working with. I wanted to incorporate an island in our kitchen so badly, but we simply do not have a ton of room to work with. One of this size gives us plenty of storage space, but does not overwhelm the traffic flow of the room. I have looked through a ton of images of kitchen islands up until now, and am just so thrilled that I found this one.
These are probably my top pictures of kitchen islands, because I love the size and shape of this unit (not to mention the style of cabinetry throughout the rest of the space). I found myself going down a rabbit hole of kitchen design pictures in search of some inspiration for our home -- this site certainly did not disappoint because it lead me to this awesome house. We are basically starting from the ground up, so I am needing all kinds of details from cabinet style to island shape, backsplash ideas and everything in between. I gravitated towards these photos because they were unlike a lot of the kitchen island ideas for small kitchens than I had been seeing on here.
I think that these pictures of kitchen islands really do not do the piece justice because that gorgeous shiny wood is just so much richer in person. It took me quite some time to find kitchen island ideas that suited the size of our home and the style I was trying to go for. I really wanted to create a chefs kitchen that not only would be extremely beautiful to step into, but that would also be extremely easy for me to work in. I do a lot of catered events, so storage and prep space was an absolute must for me in here. I was actually inspired by some kitchen remodel pictures on this site that featured a gigantic island that anchored the entire kitchen design.
It took combing through dozens of pictures of kitchen islands before I could finally settle on this retro meets modern design. When we moved into this home, I knew that incorporating kitchen island ideas with seating was an absolute must that I could not overlook. We had a large island in our old home, and we used it probably more than any other single feature in our house. There is a large empty space in our new home that I think would be perfect to add a large unit like this. From what I have seen of our kitchen cabinets pictures (we have not actually been able to visit the house yet because we are so far away), they appear to be a similar white shaker design.
