I am willing to replace the countertops and backsplash, but I don't want to touch the major elements like cabinetry, range hood, sink etc. So whatever kitchen backsplash designs I go with will need to somehow coordinate with those existing elements. I know that marble is extremely popular these past few years, but I worry that it is too cool-toned for all of the warmth that we have here. I think that, if we replace some of our old tile with more modern and trendy kitchen backsplash ideas 2022, the entire room would feel entirely different and far more updated. In fact, I love pretty much everything about this kitchen except for the garish backsplash ideas that they used! Pairing the soft grey cabinets with the cream-colored island is a beautiful contrast and I think is very on trend with what all of the major design companies are doing this year. Sure they could have gone with a simple and classic white subway tile, but they took it a step further and chose the same pattern but in that soft dove grey shade that is so prominent in beautiful kitchens 2022. I think that it really helped to escalate an already stunning look into that category that gets reposted on here. If it were my home, the only thing that I would change is the flooring choice. Given the kitchen backsplash ideas with white cabinets and marble countertops, I probably would have gone with a wood floor in the same (or similar) shade as the rustic finished cabinetry on the window side.
