I always feel like something is missing when I decorate a room in an ultra-cool toned palette (as is so popular these days) so, from now on, I am just sticking to what I love. We have done a couple of recent bathroom makeovers in travertine, but I decided to post our own master because it is definitely my favorite of all of them.

I always knew in theory that bathroom shower tile designs could totally transform the look of a room, but boy was this confirmed when we redid our master this year. I actually based the overall design on a photo that I saw in a gallery of up and coming contemporary shower tile ideas 2022 on here. They used really cool river rock tile to create a unique natural meets industrial modern style master bath (which I think was in some sort of urban loft). I really liked the concept, but wanted to make it a little bit softer by doing it in a color palette that incorporated more muted shades. Low and behold, I found the perfect tile at a local speciality shop, and from their the entire room was born. The shower tile designs were the basis for everything else and really ground the room.

I came on here looking for some type of inspiration for bathroom shower tile designs in our new house, and the creativity of people never ceases to amaze me. Take this home for example -- I am interpreting their tile layout and color scheme to look like some sort of chimney, but I am not necessarily sure that is what they were going for. Regardless, their bathroom tiles design is totally stunning and I really love the colors of glass tiles that they combined here. It is definitely a darker color scheme, but the metallics in it brighten things up so nicely. After seeing this, I am excited to discover other bathroom tile ideas 2022 that are out there and just waiting for me to replicate in our house!

With this year's tax refund check, we decided to update our master with some new bathroom shower tile designs. We are going to completely makeover the space with new tile, fixtures, paint, you name it! I have been on here looking around for really cool bathroom shower ideas 2022 but, so far, am feeling a little bit underwhelmed with what I have seen. I posted a couple of photos of our current design so that you can see what we are working with. Obviously it is very 2000s with all of the brass and and travertine tile, hence why we are probably going to just gut the thing and start fresh. We are pretty handy and willing to DIY just about anything, so I don't anticipate our small bathroom designs to cost all that much. What direction do you think we should go in here?

This is for sure one of the coolest bathroom shower tile designs that I have seen on here. Not only is it super bright and colorful, but the actual shower itself is gigantic! I think it was smart of them to keep the rest of the bathroom designs smaller in scale and pretty minimal in order to allow the shower to really standout. Not only that, but it prevents the space from feeling crowded or overwhelmed by color and pattern (two things that could very easily happen with a design this bold). The one thing that I may have done differently is the brought a little bit more life to the bathroom flooring ideas. Not that the white square tile is necessarily bad, but I just did that it is not necessarily the same style as the rest. I would have gone with something more sleek and contemporary.

Minimalist bathroom shower tile designs like these are really under-valued in my opinion. Today's society tends to hold up the bigger, bolder, and most expensive designs as the be all and end all (both in decor as well as fashion and beyond), but I find simplicity to be an art form in and of itself. Plain white bathroom tiles can have such elegance when paired with gorgeous natural wood and a simple river rock accents that perfectly ties together the whole space, without feeling too "in your face." If they had done more tile and color, it really would have taken away from the overall motif of the space. These are perfect guest bathroom ideas for anybody dealing with smaller rooms, or could just as easily be scaled up for a large master.
