Bedroom Ideas
I have been searching for ideas on how to decorate a bedroom using a beige and white color palette, but everything I find is boring and lacks any real design interest. Then I found this beautiful master suite! I love how the designer utilized a very neutral color palette but managed to make the space look whimisical. Even though the room does not appear to have a lot of square footage, it seems open and airy. They incorporated great small bedroom ideas like the slim shelving unit that features edgy metal touches as well as the shallow built in closet unit.

My favorite part is how the fun black, grey and white artwork over the bed really ties the whole design together. The rest of the bedroom decorating ideas, from the bedding to the furniture and trinkets on the bookshelf, all tie in with the colors of the artwork. The finished product is a fantastic streamlined look throughout the room that seems so calming and relaxing.

As I have been designing our new master suite, I find myself drawn to modern bedroom designs like this. The neutral color palette paired with dark wood accents and pops of deep purples in the textiles all work together to create a fun mix of organic and contemporary styles. Bedroom decorating ideas are so personal because they reveal what elements you find most relaxing and what helps you to destress after a long day. For me it is that same mix of modern and natural elements that the designer chose in this bedroom design. Muted color palettes and wood tones embody those zen elements of nature that calm the mind and body.

I love master bedroom designs that feature a masculine color palette of greys and blues. Todays most popular decor trends usually showcase a crisp all white color palette throughout wall paint, linens, and furniture, with the only pops of color brought in through artwork. I much prefer bedroom decorating ideas that infuse the space with color and personality. For this reason, we chose a simple and contemporary slate colored upholstered bed to pair along side unique glass and metal accent furniture. In order to soften the harsh look a bit, we found this beautiful plush area rug that not only looks great, but feels amazing on the feet as well. Crisp white linens and bold accent pillows finish off the look. If you want to recreate a similar style in your home, look for interior design ideas that pair bold masculine elements (the modern bed and blue grey color palette) alongside softer more feminine features (area rug, textiles). The finished product is an interesting dichotomy of style.

Nowadays so many people are in to super modern home decor ideas, but I am more of a traditional person. I love classic neutral color palettes, floral prints and lush matlesse textiles. To me, bedroom decorating ideas that feature bright colors, cold metal finishes and stark decor, are not at all relaxing. When I decorated my master suite, I wanted it to be a peaceful getaway in my crazy house. I looked for bedroom decoration that embodied all of my favorite things. A beautiful wood sleigh bed, antique linens and cheerful floral fabric were the first things I picked out. The rest of the room came together so easily after I selected these inspiration pieces. We painted the walls a nice simple tan color that was not harsh or distracting, and then added vintage prints on the wall that coordinate with the decorative accents on my built in bookshelves. The result is a cozy and relaxing space that perfectly fits my personality.

I just finished revamping my master bedroom decor and I love how it turned out! First, I searched all over for the most popular room decor ideas, then combined all of my favorite elements into one space. My room is quite large, so I decided to divide the spade into zones in order to break up the space. I created a sitting area in front of the fireplace and then a dedicated sleeping area with bed and end tables. Vintage elegance was my starting point for the room so I incorporated bedroom ideas that had that old school glam feel to them. By keeping the color palette simple with grey, silver and muted purple tones, I was able to layer a lot of fun textiles, textures and prints without it being overwhelming.

I absolutely love beautiful bedrooms decorated in a girly vintage theme. This designer did such a fabulous job using a blush pink color palette in a very sophisticated way. It is quite hard to find master bedroom decor in my favorite pink tones that does not look cheap or juvenile, but this room is brimming in it. I think the key to creating this elegant feel is by pairing those pops of pink alongside a very chic neutral color palette of beige and grey. I always gravitate towards bedroom decorating ideas that feature large statement furniture pieces. I am usually too scared to use them at my small house because I worry it will overpower the space. But in this room, although the furniture is oversized and quite ornate, it does not seem overpowering because of the muted tones. The blush upholstered bed pairs perfectly with the vintage French inspired nightstands. I love how the tufted bench at the foot of the bed mimics the look of the headboard and would give my cats a place to sleep at night.
