I have been loving Behr paint colors inspiration rooms lately because the palettes are just out of this world. I am particularly inspired by this Behr paint colors gray look that combines a soft charcoal wall, crisp white paint and an awesome mosaic tile fireplace to tie it all together. Usually it is the furniture or artwork that makes a room, but in the case of this space I truly believe it is the foundational pieces like the wall color and architectural detailing. I would love to recreate every detail of this room in my own home, even down to their choice of throw pillows. I am definitely going to go pick up swarths of the Behr paint colors 2019 collection and bring them home to test out in our living room.
Whenever clients ask me my recommendations on brands for wall coverings, I always recommend Behr paint colors because I feel that their quality and shade range is unmatched for the price. Behr Perfect Taupe is definitely my "go-to" shade whenever I don't know where to begin. As you can see, it is a lovely neutral that does not lean too warm or too cool. This makes it a fantastic choice for nearly any style interior you wish to create, whether it be ultra modern like this cool bedroom or classically traditional. I would definitely pick up a small can and swatch it on your wall before you commit in order to ensure that it pairs well with your current bedroom paint colors used on the trim or ceiling.
Our contractor has tasked us with picking out the Behr paint colors we want to use in our new kitchen with adjoining living space. These photos were actually my inspiration for the entire main floor design so I want to continue to use them to base my paint color choices on. I want to find out which Behr grey paint colors are closest to the ones that this homeowner used but I am not quite sure how to do that without blindly guessing. I was wondering if anybody here as suggestions for a shade that would match the walls and trim of this photo? I have considered taking my iPad to the store and asking there or maybe uploading this photo to the Behr Paint App to color match, but I was not sure how accurate either would be.
I continue to be so impressed by Behr paint colors because each shade I have used in a client's home has turned out absolutely impeccable. This awesome Spanish style retreat was one of my favorite rooms recently because I think that the warm Behr white paint (called White Clay for those asking) toned on the walls contrasts perfectly against the espresso trim and wood beams in order to capture that Old World charm we were going for. Not only is the shade absolutely beautiful, but it went on like a dream with no patchiness or need for a primer. We were able to achieve this look for only two coats (both walls and trim) which usually never happens with other paint color ideas and brands we have used in the past.
Homeowners often ask my what my favorite shades of Behr paint colors are (a contractors favorite around here) but it is really so hard to give out recommendations because they have dozens of fantastic shades depending on your personal decor preferences. Take these dining room paint colors for example. the lovely taupe shade is a great neutral foundation for the traditional style dining set, area rug and chandelier. It perfectly accents the navy and indigo pieces that we brought in through the decor, but it would look a bit out of place in an ultra modern room. I definitely recommend bringing a Behr interior paint color chart home from the story with you and hold it up against your existing furnishings or anything new you plan to bring in, then go from there.
I really love the Behr paint colors we settled on for our new living room. As you can see we went for living room paint ideas that had a strong contrast in order to highlight the beautiful trim work and large picture windows that overlook the wooded area of our backyard. Originally we had a soft white shade against the trim, but you could not really see any of the architectural detailing in the room because it all blended together. This deep taupe shade that the Home Depot paint colors specialist recommended to us pops nicely against the crisp white trim and gives the room a much more contemporary look (which I enjoy). I would definitely recommend stopping by there and letting them assist you next time you need some painting help.
