Some people think that the kitchen is the heart of the home and where most time is spent, but I disagree! I think that the bathroom is really where you spend the most time in your home and thats why I wanted my master bath to be one of the best rooms in the house. So when I was looking to purchase a new home, I really wanted to find one with anexquisite grey bathroom. Grey tones are very relaxing to me and can be very versatile when it comes to accent colors. I sometimes go through redecorating sprees and change out all my accent decor, so having a dark grey bathroom allows me to switch up the rest of the accents easily. Another thing I was looking for when I was searching for my new home was a large bathroom mirror. Not only does it allow you to get a full view of yourself, but it also reflects light and brightens up the room. Ive searched through a lot of bathroom mirror ideas, but this one is by far my favorite. Im so excited to move into my new home with this amazing grey master bathroom.
I had some clients come to me saying they needed some small bathroom ideas for their home they were redecorating. It can be hard to design a space when it is not very large, but I was able to work with them to incorporate the modern design they wanted in their small bathroom. For them I stuck to a neutral color scheme of grays and white, which reflects light and makes the small area seem bigger. For a grey bathroom you can either choose black or white for the countertops and bathtubs. They really liked the idea of a black countertop so we did that for the sink. But in order to keep the room feeling open and not too dark, I went with a porcelain white bathtub and toilet. Since they wanted a gray bathroom for their small space, I made sure to choose light gray tones to keep the room brighter. The seamless glass doors to the shower allow for reflection of light, while also not closing of the area and making the space seem small. My clients were very happy with the remodel I did for them in this bathroom.
I am loving how our new grey bathroom turned out after a lengthy remodel. When we first moved into this house the master suite was quite outdated -- I knew that I wanted to add a grey and white bathroom that would be a nice neutral space off of the main sleeping area. I find this color palette so serene and the absolute perfect thing to wake up and go spend time in as I prepare for the day. My favorite part of the space is definitely the large freestanding soaking tub. I think that the white porcelain accents the soft gray bathroom ideas that we used throughout the rest of the space perfectly, and the floral arrangement of cotton branches is just the right touch to tie the whole design together.
I know that a grey bathroom in the master is very "in" nowadays but I am just not loving the one in the house we just bought. I wanted to post some photos because I would love advice on grey bathroom ideas that will elevate the look of this space without requiring us to rip out tile, vanities etc. We definitely want to add more color, whether that be an accent shade to the grey or something a bit more bold. I love navy blue, but if that is too similar to these colors then I would certainly be open to something else. My biggest request is that we don't have to gut the gray tile bathroom because, even though I don't love it, I know that intricate tile work like this costs a ton of money and takes a lot of time to redo.
If you are in search of a nice contemporary grey bathroom to serve as inspiration for your own home, then I would go no further than these fantastic photos. I absolutely love any type of modern grey bathroom because I think that this particular style and color palette blends well with just about every other type of design you would want to use in the home. It is chic and refined yet very organic and simple -- a great feature for any type of space that has to be highly functional and that you spend a lot of time in each day. I think it would be pretty easy to replicate these grey bathroom designs because you just need a sleek natural-looking tile for the shower and walls, then accent it with pure vibrant white pieces and chrome fixtures. Super simple!
I have been trying to find the perfect design for my guest bathroom and while incorporating a grey color scheme. This half bath is small and has corner window that makes it hard to design around, but it turned out great. I love how I could incorporate different shades of grey throughout. The light shade of paint on the wall reflects the light from the window and makes the room appear larger. I thought it would be hard to make my small grey bathroom feel spacious, but I am very happy with the openness it exudes. I decided on a multilevel vanity with a white porcelain vessel sink to add a modern vibe. The hanging light fixture adds to this modern look and is my favorite part of this room. A great part of a light grey bathroom is you can easily switch up decor around the room to add different accent colors depending on the season or your mood.
