I am calling this renovation a slight fail, because I think we fell short in our attempt to recreate the trendy grey bathrooms decorating ideas that you see in magazines. We did not use one particular photo or design as our "inspiration" or starting point, so I think that may have been one areas where we went wrong. I kind of combined a mishmash of grey bathroom designs that I found from a variety of sources and hoped that they would all go together. I suppose that nothing really clashes, I just don't feel like the room looks finished or that everything flows together seamlessly like all of the professional photos do that you see on here. I need some inspiration for small bathroom decorating ideas that won't cost a ton, but that will help to finish off our current design.
I am really enjoying seeing the transition from the older grey bathrooms decorating ideas to the new black and white trend that is emerging this year. I definitely buy into home decor trends and have implemented everything from all those grey bathroom ideas from last year, to the marble herringbone in the kitchen that all of those Instagram bloggers seem to feature in their houses. This year I am going to make these photos my inspiration, renovate our master bath to look very similar to this cool contemporary yet glamorous design. I am sure this will be a very obviously bathroom decor 2022 look, but I don't mind changing it when it goes out of style. I think that the overall design is unique enough that it will still stand out and be relevant for years to come.
This home definitely has some of my favorite grey bathrooms decorating ideas that I have found so far. In fact, I love it so much that I think I am going to use these photos as my starting point for our master bathroom renovation. I have always known that I wanted to keep the bathroom colors in there very subtle and neutral without any bold or bright colors. The bathroom is a place where I want to relax and unwind. I can shut myself off from the rest of the world and enjoy some solitude, so I want the overall vibe to be very zen and spa-like. I think that this decor is a perfect embodiment of all of those things, while still looking very current and stylish at the same time. It is not your typical gray bathroom decor, but it definitely falls within current trends.
I love this darker and more broody twist on the typical grey bathrooms decorating ideas that you see all over the internet and home stores these days. There is certainly nothing wrong with all of those typical white and gray bathroom ideas that tend to feature white vanities and marble tile, in fact I have a bathroom at our home that is done up in that style. However, for our master suite, I want something more "grown up" and sexy. I think that this home definitely fits the bill for that. I love how they used darker shades of gray in the cool metallic tile and paint colors, then contrasted it with white floors and lighter marble countertops. This combination with the glamorous chandelier and polished chrome hardware makes for a super elegant and fashion-forward design. I am basically going to take these bathroom pictures to my contractor and ask him to replicate the whole thing.
This house definitely has some of my favorite grey bathrooms decorating ideas that I have seen in awhile. Most are two "vanilla" for me and don't have a bold enough design for what I would ordinarily do in my home. The part that really caught my eye was the bathroom tile ideas that they used behind the tub. I have never seen tile like that before, and I am not even really sure what material that would be so that I can try to find it locally. I think that it would look awesome with stark white vanities, shiny chrome fixtures, and maybe even paired with dark charcoal tiles on the floor and shower walls. It would definitely be something very different than most of the grey bathroom tiles you see on here, but that is part of the draw for me.
These are some truly amazing grey bathrooms decorating ideas that I cannot say I have ever seen in any of the galleries on here or even home decor magazines that I receive in the mail. Most grey bathroom decor that makes it on here looks fairly the same without much of a style variation. It is all that in-between style that balances the line of contemporary and traditional. In all reality, that is probably the best way to decorate a bathroom because it can easily be modified to fit just about anybody's personal taste. Bathrooms and kitchens can be super polarizing, so it is often smart to remain pretty neutral especially if you have any intention of selling your house at some point. This grey and white bathroom throws all of that out the window, and instead presents a decidedly modern take on many of the popular trends that you see. I would replicate just about everything that you see here in my house if I could.
