I have been studying popular patio ideas 2022 for the past month or so and keep honing in on these desert-centric designs with stucco, brightly colored tiles, and clay roofs. If I could find this material, I would definitely use it to redo our backyard patio.
A couple of my friends have been asking for my advice on patio ideas 2022 so I thought that I would share on here in case it is of interest to anybody. It is funny because people tend to believe that just because I am an interior designer, that I somehow know everything about what is going to be trending in indoor and outdoor decor at any given time. The unique rounded shape, gorgeous wood beams, and smooth stucco finish are so cool, and I cannot decide if it looks modern, futuristic, or just like a piece of artwork. I love their use of patio pavers here because it makes a nice contrast against the extremely smooth stucco exterior, and brings more color into the design. The only thing that I would change about this space is the stools around the bar. I think that they clash with the overall look and kind of take away from the space.
If this house does not get you excited about all of the brilliant new options in patio ideas 2022, I certainly don't know what possibly could! Even as a landscape designer, I must admit that I have never seen residential pool patio ideas quite like this. This takes resort style living to a new level as they created an absolutely stunning contemporary style grotto in the middle of their court yard. From the epic boulder waterfall (two-tiered!) to the wading pool and adjacent hot tub, they have certainly corned the market when it comes to awesome ways to create a residential pool. I love that all of the balconies overlook this awesome space because it makes it a design feature of all of the rooms in the house that have windows overlooking the patio. Obviously most people cannot just replicate this space in their home, but I think it could be a fantastic source of patio decorating ideas 2022 if you take a little bit of creative liberties here.
From what I have seen so far, I think that pergolas are going to be huge in patio ideas 2022 for residential spaces both large and small. Now, if you are averse to those more traditional California-style or grecian covered patio ideas, do not be afraid because there are so many awesome contemporary style designs that I have been seeing that are much more sleek and streamlined. This home is probably my favorite that I have seen so far because the pergola rood is the perfect mixture of the traditional design blended with a little bit more modern of an edge with the dark contrasting paint, paired with the gorgeous metallic tiled fire pit feature and checkerboard lawn. Creativity seems to be the name of the game in the more high end backyard patio designs that I have seen lately, and I imagine that this theme will carry into the interiors as well.
