White cabinets are by far my favorite thing to add to a kitchen because it creates such a clean foundation to the design. I do struggle to decide what types of kitchen backsplash ideas with white cabinets would balance the room the most, because an all white look will keep things clean and monochromatic while a contrasting mosaic will give a bit more style and fun. This is our own personal kitchen and, as you can see, I went for a simple white subway tile backsplash. It is a popular material in trendy kitchen design 2019 magazines, but it will also allow me to change up my decor over the years because of its simplicity and neutral coloring.
If you like white cabinets as much as I do, then you will love this gorgeous cottage design. I can't quite tell if these are modern cabinets or a more traditional design (and perhaps that is good), but whatever it is it creates the perfect balance between trendy contemporary designs and the coziness that cottage decor brings. Of course, the vaulted ceilings complete with shiplap panelling and bronze accented white beams certainly takes the space up a notch and makes it something special. I have white kitchen cabinets in my home but the room certainly does not look like this -- I hope that there are little touches that I can add that may give it a similar look.
I love sleek white cabinets anchoring and ultra contemporary kitchen. When it comes to modern kitchen cabinets, this space has it all -- the mixture of rich stained units, white cabinetry in the center, and an awesome black island is mismatched and unexpected, but works surprisingly well. The rest of the decor is kept pretty simple in order to let the cabinetry be the focal point of the design. I do like that they chose industrial concrete slabs rather than the typical countertops for white cabinets that you see all over the place (hello marble). Between that and the awesome abstract chrome pendant light hung above the island, I think this space is absolutely perfect.
White cabinets are definitely the safest option if you are remodeling your kitchen with the intention of selling in the somewhat near future. White cabinets with dark countertops like this coordinate well with a variety of decor styles and color palettes so your new owners can put their own personal touch on the space easily. This will make your home more move-in ready and thus more attractive to potential buyers. If this is your ultimate goal, I would suggest going for neutral kitchen paint colors with white cabinets to, again, develop a monochromatic base for any decor style. I like the tan shade that they used here but a light grey would go even better.
As we embark on our latest kitchen renovation journey, I have been scouring the internet looking for the perfect white cabinets to recreate this inspiration design that I love so much. These are not your typical units available at every single home improvement store, the antique white cabinets in the photo appear to be custom made and look perfect paired with the rich wood beams on the ceiling. We have a similar feature in our house that I really want to accent by contrasting white cabinets below. The style of our current units would probably be defined as shaker kitchen cabinets, so I do not know that I could achieve the same look by just painting them an antique white shade.
I am so glad that white cabinets have come back in style again, I did not like those trendy dark espresso units that have been popping up everywhere over the past five years. I think that kitchen designs with white cabinets are so elegant while still being cozy and warm. This particular home is a great example of how you can mix traditional and contemporary pieces to create a mishmash of styles that all work together in harmony. The classic panelling and decorative accents of the cabinetry are made more modern by the crisp white kitchen cabinet colors, and the barstools and countertops continue the contemporary flare.
