I really want some new bathroom vanity ideas that would allow me to keep the majority of the existing unit we have but give it a more traditional look. As you can see our current bathroom vanities with tops have quite a contemporary style. It is beautiful, but my personal design tastes lean a bit more traditional than the previous owners of our home. I know that the base is quite expensive so I want to try to reuse it, just give it a more classic look with new countertops, light fixtures, and handles. The existing pieces are the thing that make the space seem the most modern. The base of the unit is actually quite similar to a lot that have seen in my favorite traditional bathroom cabinet ideas online. So merely swapping out the hardware for a classic polished chrome piece could really transform the space.
I have been looking at a lot of bathroom vanity ideas lately in order to decide what we should put in our new home. Our contractor asked if we prefer more contemporary or traditional style bathroom vanity cabinets and, to be honest, I dont think that I really lean one way or the other. I really liked the photos of this bathroom because I think that the decor scheme is quite generic and could take on modern style accents or traditional elements and still look good. The white bathroom vanity has some nice simple paneling (I think they call it shaker style) and the faux marble countertops are just beautiful. I would love to pair it with crisp grey walls and indigo accents, perhaps in a ginger jar or two. Overall, I think this piece would look great in our house.
It has been really challenging to find bathroom vanity ideas that would not overwhelm a small space. In general, I find small bathroom vanities to be quite underwhelming because they do not seem to fit the scale of a room even though they are designed for more limited floor plans. I think the aspect that I do not like, is that they often seem to be shorter than their full sized counterparts. That is what attracted me to this cool contemporary floating vanity design. The fact that you could mount the unit and coordinating bathroom wall cabinet at any height you want, gave the space the elegance of a full size room, while still being the appropriate scale for the floor plan. If your decor style can take it, I would definitely consider a floating vanity like this for a smaller sized bathroom.
My husband and I just bought a new house that we plan to renovate and are looking for some bathroom vanity ideas. We werent quite sure exactly what we wanted but we knew we wanted to keep it clean and neutral tones to match our plans for the rest of our house. I found these pictures during my search and it is exactly what we are looking for! We wanted to create more floor space in the master bath so we were planning on having a corner bathroom vanity just like this one. The addition of the chair area will be perfect for when I am putting on makeup and getting ready everyday. I love the light grey stained cabinetry paired with the various shades of grey in the tile that they have in this picture! And the white countertops with the porcelain white bathtub really accentuates the colors. It can be so hard to find the perfect master bathroom vanity ideas when you are renovating your house. But I am so glad I found this inspiration! I cant wait to see what the finished project looks like.
So many of the bathroom vanity ideas have been very similar to each other and, quite frankly, all together too traditional. I really wanted something for our new master bath that would be very modern and unique, like a piece of artwork. A floating bathroom vanity like this seems like such a perfect choice for the style that we I want to achieve. The simple boxy shape, clean lines, and hidden attachment to the wall make it look very sculptural as well as functional. I think this would be the perfect addition to our space because it would really cement the modern yet eclectic style we are going for and it would give the bathroom the illusion of more height. I am so happy I found this photo in a sea of boring white bathroom cabinet ideas that I have been seeing everywhere online.
I am so inspired by cool contemporary bathroom vanity ideas like this because I love the clean lines and simplicity of the piece. I have always been attracted to sleeker modern bathroom vanities with limited fuss from a lot of panelling, trim work and extra detailing. There is something about the simplicity of the piece in this photo that I find to be quite elegant. I especially like the rich espresso shade against the soft beige stone subway tiles that surround the vanity nook. Even better, they were able to fit a double sink vanity into a relatively small space without it looking crowded because the design of the unit is so simple and clean. This is definitely one of my favorite photos, and a look that I want to recreate in our new master.
