If this isn't the most perfect country style kitchen that you will ever find, then I don't know what is. Every detail from the gorgeous wood cabinetry, farmhouse sink, large stone hearth and exposed wood beams to each and every piece of country kitchen decor absolutely screams rustic elegance. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but I am sure that the ample storage space, huge sink and vast countertops making cooking in this kitchen an absolute dream come true. I have seen a lot of pictures of country kitchens, but I don't think that I have come across a designs that captivates me as much as this one. I definitely want to try my best to recreate some of the features here in my own kitchen.
This unique contemporary twist on your more typical country style kitchen is just so inspiring to me. I have always wanted a modern style home, but the warmth and memories of my childhood house that was decorated in a more rustic style still call to me to this day. I feel like these kitchen design images truly combine the best of both worlds when it comes to the contemporary and more farmhouse chic styles. I love how they paired super angular and simple architecture with quaint touches like a classic antique style hutch and coordinating range hood hung down the center of the vaulted ceiling. They even incorporated some of those quintessential country kitchen ideas in the cute rooster accents scattered throughout.
I love an elevated country style kitchen that has just enough elegance that you would not feel weird throwing formal dinner parties in the space. I decided to post some pictures of my home just in case anybody needed some kitchen decor ideas that were a bit different than your average all white and marble spaces that you see just about everywhere these days. I am not one to follow trends or to really want a cookie cutter house (or wardrobe) so I decided to go off script when we planned out this space and just add in what truly made me happy. We wanted to incorporate some kitchen design 2019 trends that stood out to me like a Long Island, and large architectural range hood but, other than that, everything else is simply what caught my eye.
I would love to know what my grandmother would think about this so called country style kitchen. I understand that there are certainly quire a few more rustic touches than average incorporated alongside more current kitchen design ideas, but I would not go so far as to say that this resembles anything like the lovely farmhouse style that she created. That is not to say that I do not like this design -- quite the opposite actually. I really enjoy how this designer managed to pair country kitchen cabinets alongside more contemporary pieces of decor such as the large stainless steel hood, the sleek granite countertops, and travertine flooring.
I never thought I was a country style kitchen until I saw this space when I was looking for home remodel inspo. I figured that my decor tastes leaned more contemporary because I tend to gravitate towards sleek looks with neutral color palettes and a lot of metal accents, but something about these country kitchen designs that they used here really called to me. It's funny, because this room is pretty much the epitome of the opposite of everything I just describe. Rather than an overly rustic look, they created an elegant French country kitchen with rich antique white paneled cabinets, beautiful granite countertops that coordinate well with the travertine floors, and a lot of quaint antique-looking accents.
I am a totally sucker for a country style kitchen, especially if the designer uses any just about any shade of blue as a bright accent color. This charmingly lovely modern country kitchen stood out to me the most because I love the pairing of your more traditional elements like a marble-topped island and richly patterned cabinets, with a contemporary color palette and unique industrial style light fixtures. The dichotomy of the two styles is very interesting and really works for the layout of this home. I mean look at that huge wall of cabinetry -- imagine what you could store in there! Even better, the designer certainly stayed on trend with the hottest kitchen colors 2019 and combined a soft dove grey on most of the units with a bright pop of indigo blue on the island.
