I am very aware that we have some problems with our kitchen interior design in that it is a mishmash of styles including contemporary, traditional, and just plain ugly haha. I have to admit that I am really struggling to come up with a plan that will make the entire space look more cohesive. Most of the luxury kitchen design photos that I have seen on here actually have a very similar style cabinet to ours (albeit white), but all of those tend to be traditional homes. I honestly have no idea what to do about the odd curved accents on the ceiling. One options is to just tear them out I suppose, but that seems like such a waste.
I always get excited when I get to take on a kitchen interior design project because these are some of the most well-used areas in just about any home. In general, I would describe my kitchen design style as timeless contemporary in that I go with mostly a mostly modern or industrial foundation to the design, but with some classic more traditional elements thrown in to balance it out. I find that this combination makes a much more universally liked design, and takes some of the harsh edge away that modern styles can sometimes have. This fun desert home is one of my latest designs and, in my opinion anyways, is definitely full of kitchen remodel ideas for any homeowner (or fellow designer) in need of some inspiration.
If I had to pick a single kitchen interior design on here that I liked well enough to translate the entire thing into our house, it would definitely be this one. I originally came on here looking for some options for our kitchen remodel, but after seeing these photos I pretty much want to renovate our entire home to match the exact style of this space. I love the warm shade of the flooring and how the countertops and barstools mimic the same color palette. I also really enjoy how the pendant light fixtures over the island bring a glamorous touch to an otherwise cozy and inviting space. These photos will definitely be the main source of our kitchen interior design ideas as we begin to plan out our renovations.
Now this is some high end kitchen interior design if I have ever seen it -- and I have browsed around a lot on there! I think that the single element that really sets this space apart from all of the others in the kitchen design gallery that I found it in is the decorative trim work that is used everywhere. The medallion on the ceiling, the design accenting the entry ways that is then carried to the range hood, and of course the detailing on the cabinetry all combine to make it a very glamorous look. I would love to see what the rest of their home interior design looks like because I bet it is just as glamorous as it is in here.
This is one of my favorite kitchen interior design options because of how grand and, quite frankly, unique it is. I just recently visited Biltmore Estate in Asheville, and this definitely reminds me of something that would appear there. in fact, I am so inspired by these kitchen pictures that I am strongly considering using it as a rough blueprint (both design and layout) for a home remodel this year. My husband and I have been talking about doing something for a couple of years now, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to do it. Kitchen makeovers scare a lot of people, but I am actually really looking forward to getting started with the planning process! Stay tuned for some before and after photos!
I really like how unique this kitchen interior design is, both with the gorgeous dark walnut cabinetry and the unconventionally long layout. While I suppose that it could be inspired from some of the more popular kitchen design ideas 2020, I actually think that the designer went off the cuff here and tried something totally different from the ordinary. It is this factor that I find most appealing, because I really am not into being like everybody else. This would definitely qualify as a modern style, but it has a slight rustic touch that makes it something special. Even better, I think that this style could work in a wide variety of homes with either a large or a small kitchen design.
