I am going to be going on and on about this master bath remodel for along time because it is, by far, my favorite design project that I have ever completed. It was so fun to work with these clients because bathroom remodel cost was no object for them, and they insisted that I find the best pieces without worrying about a budget. We wanted to do a very elegant garden party theme anchored in these gorgeous sage green vanities and coordinating panelling throughout the bathroom. The bathroom makeovers did not stop there -- we installed marble tile and countertops everywhere as well as a gorgeous antique chandelier and custom drapery that matches the fabric on the vanity seat.
It has been hard for me to blend my husband and I's style as I come up with the plan for our master bath remodel. I figured the best place to start the design process was by looking at pictures of master bathrooms done by high end designers for direction and inspiration. This proved to be the right idea because I quickly found this very cool space that has a style that crosses between vintage and contemporary (the perfect combination of me and my husband). Both of us love a clean monochromatic design so the exclusively white palette of this space definitely attracted us both. I also loved the freestanding tub that I have been seeing in all of the bathroom remodel 2019 catalogues, and how it matches the beautiful and simple subway tile shower.
Thanks to the availability of master bathroom designs, you have an abundance of choices when upgrading your bathroom, and in all price ranges. Whether you want a stark white room with wood accents or a colorful bathroom that blends hues and materials, you're limited only by your imagination. Doing a complete shower remodel is easier and less expensive than ever, thanks to easy-to-install bathroom tiles, bench seating that works for all ages, and glass doors. If you're looking at updating your bathroom storage, a built-in closet for towels and linens or a large vanity overflowing with drawer space will work in almost any space.
As an interior designer, I'm part of a team that specializes in taking the home you own and turning it into the home you'll love. Bathroom renovations are one of the least expensive ways to upgrade the look of your home and increase property values. Surround tubs have been replaced by open and freestanding bathtubs and walk-in showers. Master bathroom remodel jobs may include the addition of easy-to-clean colored tiles, sunken tubs, glass shower doors, and recessed lighting. All of these elements work together to create a bathroom that's pleasing to the eye. If completing a master bath remodel is on your list of things to do this year, consult with a builder, look at pictures to generate ideas, and do some price checking.
A master bath should be a relaxing space that offers an abundance of room to stretch out in a tub, wash before meals, and grab a shower before work. There's no need to cobble together a bathroom that you don't like. Lower prices, ample design ideas, and do-it-yourself kits make doing a master bath remodel simpler than in days gone by. Freestanding vanities, repurposed antiques, shelving units, and lighting can all be added to give your room a look all its own. If you're doing a bath remodel this year, talk to an interior decorator, browse magazine pictures, and look online at costs and available materials to create a bathroom you'll genuinely appreciate for many years.
My husband and I began looking at bathroom remodel pictures last year with the hope that we could piece together some of our favorite looks. He prefers heavy, masculine furniture and I like bright and airy minimalistic styles. We were concerned with master bathroom remodel cost, but learned after using a cost calculator that it's not so difficult to create the bathroom of your dreams, no matter your budget. By price comparing online and speaking with a builder, we were able to design a room that worked for both of us while keeping costs down. Our master bath remodel is now complete with a freestanding copper-colored tub, walk-in shower, tile design on the floor, and wood vanity with dual sinks.
