You know that you are a new home owner when spending an evening looking at wine rack ideas sounds like heaven to you. Truth be told, I had never really given any major amount of thought to the different types of wine racks for home that you could purchase or build. I was too busy drinking the wine haha. Now that I have a kitchen and dining area to call my own, I really want to figure out a creative way to display my growing wine collection. Some people would think that this is silly, but who cares about them right? This is by far my favorite design of any that I have seen so far because of how simple and clean it looks. I am not sure that this is a diy wine rack that I could make myself or if it is something that would need to be purchased pre-made. Does anybody know where to buy one of these?
This gallery has some of the most creative and beautiful wine rack ideas that I have ever seen. They certainly make me want to dedicate a space in my home to wine storage, with maybe even a little area to do tasting or to serve a charcuterie board. Now, since I don't have a large budget to dedicate to this project, I am thinking that this is going to be some sort of diy wine cellar. I would love to find simple metal wine racks just like these, that could double as a cool piece of contemporary artwork for the walls. Something like this would definitely blend well with the trendy modern house design that we have going on in our main living area and kitchen, and would be the perfect luxury accent to really wow our guests.
Wine rack ideas don't get much cooler than this if you are talking about at home applications. Sure you may see a huge room at a hotel or country clubhouse, but a small home wine cellar is definitely a luxury in my opinion. If you actually look at the size of this room it really isn't that large -- I think that it is this characteristic that makes it seem so well decorated. Every single inch of the space is covered giving it an extremely luxe look. To be honest, I am not sure how you could replicate this wall mounted wine rack in an average home because it is clearly custom made to the unique shape of the room. I am sure that a local carpenter or handyman could make something similar to fit your space though if you wanted it.
I have seen so many types and levels of wine rack ideas on here that it would probably blow your mind. If I had to narrow them down to a single style that I like best and that I would put in my own home, it would have to be this one. First of all, I love how this feature doubles as wine storage as well as a decorative piece of wall art. It is lit from behind which makes it look like a cool piece of artwork, and each of the mounting mechanisms are made of a cool chrome metal that looks very sculptural to me. If you are going to spend as much money as that thing probably costs, then I think it is important that it serves double duty. Think of wine racks like this as creative home decor ideas, not just a way to hang bottles.
Scrolling through this gallery of wine rack ideas, these seemingly old world underground cellars are the ones that definitely intrigue me the most. For all we know, this wine rack design could be on the second story of a house and they just added a faux arch with brick veneer to give it the look of a cellar. Regardless, this is such a charming feature that really ups the luxury for this home. The only thing that I would change about the wine storage ideas that they used, is staining all of the wood to be the same color. I understand that the overall look is supposed to be very casual, but I just prefer things to match and be more cohesive (if I am being picky). Of course, I would take any wine cellar if it meant I could have one in my home!
Transparent wine rack ideas are so smart, especially for sleek contemporary style home like this one. First of all, having a space dedicated to storing wine is a luxury that most people cannot afford (due to space or budget). Therefore, it is so important to put your wine cellar design on full display to get your money's worth. Why not do it with clear glass walls like this, so it can be seeing from the dining area at all times and so it can act as an enhancement to the rest of the decor. I think that the style of the wine storage structure as well as the actually hanging implements accents their modern dining room extremely well. The LED lighting that shines on the bottles themselves is also a really nice touch.
