I was so pleased with how this remodel project turned out because I feel that it is incredibly universal and could easily be personalized for a spacious suite or even into simple small master bathroom ideas. First of all, the color palette is simple and neutral. It could easily work within a traditional or a contemporary style home depending on what other accents you brought in here. I would keep the bathroom designs as is for a more modern vibe or, alternatively, bring in navy accents and perhaps a ginger jar vase to give it a more classic appeal. In general, I think that this a really good technique to keep in mind any time your are doing a design project of this magnitude. If you are going to spend the time and money undergoing bathroom renovations, make sure that the design that you choose is universal enough that it will stand the test of time and changes in decor preferences.
Going from searching for small master bathroom ideas for so many years, to upgrading to this larger home and the design potential that comes with it has been out of this world fun. There is certainly nothing wrong with small bathroom ideas, it just feels like I have all the freedom in the world to choose any color or pattern I want without worrying if it could potentially overwhelm the floor plan or the other elements in the room. In all reality the master bathroom designs in our new house are perfect as is, I just want to put my own spin on the place in order to make it ours. I tend to like a lot of color in both my home and my clothing, but the previous owner clearly had a more minimalistic style. Do any designers on here have advice on how to integrate the two very different principles of style?
A lot of people thought that I was crazy for using small master bathroom ideas to inspire our fairly spacious renovation, but I don't think that there is anything wrong with using techniques to maximize your space no matter how large or small it is. After all, what I consider to be a huge bathroom somebody else may feel is super tiny. The one unconventional thing that I did splurge on was these awesome bathroom mirror ideas. I am not sure if you can tell from these photos, but it is essentially a double layered mirror effect. The back is one long track of mirrors, and then there are vanity style frames layered over top. I used this technique in order to reflect light back into the room and make it seem larger. I have seen a lot of contractors do this alongside small bathroom designs with shower in order to maximize the space and prevent it from feeling cramped. I think that it worked just as well in here though.
The next project on my to do list is figuring out some small master bathroom ideas that will update this room. We bought this house knowing that there would have to be some renovations made. As you can see through those windows, the property is absolutely divine, so anything that we didn't love about the decor we committed to changing. We got a pretty decent price for the place, so we have plenty of room for some small bathroom makeovers to personalize the space. I want to go ahead and do our master first since it is my "happy place" where I go to get away from the kids or unwind after the stress of a long day. Most of the recent trendy bathroom remodel 2022 photos that I have seen on here seem to be too cool-toned and modern for our architecture, so I would welcome any advice that people would like to offer.
In case you could not tell by the stained glass window over our tub, we are in great need of some small master bathroom ideas to modernize this old and outdated room. I started out strong by looking through all of the galleries on here labeled master bathroom ideas 2022, but they all seemed so high end and expensive that I really could not imagine how they would actually fit in with the rest of the decor in our house. We are little bit more old school I suppose. We love primary colors like reds and yellows and, yes, that farm house chic that everybody talks about. With that being said though, we want to go a little bit more simple with the small bathroom designs that we use in here so that it remains looking current for longer, you know? What do you think?
If anybody has thoughts on how to translate this gorgeous luxury bath down to a scale that would be more fitting of small master bathroom ideas, I would certainly be all ears. I love the unconventional yet traditional style of this place, especially as far as the color palette and the unique use of pattern. I would have never even considered painting the trim blue in a master bathroom remodel (nor any other room in the house really), but I think that it totally makes the room here. I like to think of myself as fairly good at interior design but, for some reason, I just can't picture how to translate this photo into our floor plan. If it would help, I could also post some photos of our house. I know that a lot of people like to see before and after pictures of bathroom makeovers anyways.
